hi, how do i practise balancing for gates? is there a method ?? how can i practise,without going on the start hill on a gates session? thanks

There's no real substitute for joining in gate practice. The word practice sums it up.
You could use some wood as a slope and practice balancing with your front wheel against a wall.
I used to gate into an old arm-chair.
Best to practice with others and get some tips. Relax and enjoy the learning process.
Where's your local club?

Alot of riders make there own gates as well to use at home. Always helps.

yea, ok mate, thanks, we need as much help as possible from new,old skool riders, we are in meetings with aylesbury vale dc things looking good, so, all the help, publicity would be excellant for the club, expiriance matters, and you got bags of that, if you want to come onboard your more than welcome, and that goes for anybody who can contribute in some way or another, sponsership,contacts for funding, thats what e are after, we want to reach far and wide with this venture, thanks, mark

Looks like the random Gate is here to stay World Wide now. youtube it for more info how it works compared to the old gates Old Skoolers!
